Melanie Campbell - Regional Manager, Women in Enterprise

I have spent the last 25 years leading a number of different sales teams.

My extensive sales and leadership background started off working for two leading Insurance Companies, as well as a top Mutual Fund Company and a number one Payment Provider in Canada.

I joined TD Bank in September 2018 where I successfully led the Prairie Regional Sales team for TD Merchant Solutions until October 2021. I was the recipient of the 2020 Summit Award, as well as 2019, 2020, and 2021 Platinum Hall of Fame Awards – all while leading a top performing team. Within my leadership at TD Bank, over the last 3 years, I have enjoyed being a part of a team where I have developed talented people in not only their performance but in behavior as well, which has resulted in multiple promotions for the team. I have a serving leadership mentality, and I believe by teaching people to tune in to their emotions with intelligence we can all transform organizations from the inside out and make a positive difference in our world.

Today I am the Western Canada Regional Manager for Women in Enterprise at TD Bank, where I have the privilege of driving the Bank’s mission in supporting and financing more female entrepreneurs. I believe there is power in community, and when women come together, they change the world. Outside of my role, I also sit on two Diversity & Inclusion committees within TD Bank. I also write for an online magazine called The Good Men Project.

My personal motto is "Do More & Be More."

Fun Fact: I spent seven years of my career in the Canadian Armed Forces. I was one of the first women to have accommodations on a Canadian Naval Ship in 1990 under the Minister of National Defense monitoring the program of gender integration.
